About the book:
The Gallagher Academy for Exceptional Young Women is a fairly typical all-girls school – that is, if every school teaches advanced martial arts in PE, chemistry always consists of the latest in chemical warfare, and everyone breaks CIA codes for extra credit in computer class. This book is the first of Carter’s Gallagher Girl books, and it is just as smart, fun, and unique as the author’s adult novel, Cheating at Solitaire. While reading it I couldn’t help but think what a lovely alternative it made to books like Gossip Girl (for those of you who have parents coming in and schnarring at you about that series and others like it). It’s just as cool as the Gossip Girl books, only smarter.

I loved The Sapphire Pendant, it is filled with drama, family, relationships and above all, it’s about a lasting love.

This was a really good book, the ending was a bit different. It could have been better. The details of all the charters were outstanding. But i aggree with most people the ending could have been worded differently, it was a tad confusing.

Hey ally! Wow, these books are great!
I got finished reading the Alex Rider series (also about a teenage spy) when my friend said something to me about the ‘I’d tell you i love you, but then I’d have to kill you’ book and i just finished the second one!
There is alot of action that makes you want to keep reading and i can’t wait until the third one!
Ahhh! I’m excited!
I also heard there is going to be a movie out based on the book?

I know everyone else is saying they want to try out for this but I know i NEED too ! There is nothing i can pisture my self doing for the rest of my life but acting. My friend and i bought these books together and went to her house and for like 2 hours straight we read the book. Then the next day we got Cross my heart and hope to spy. All we did that weekend was read ! i am so pumped for the next one to come out ! but i need this audtition ! even just for the experience and to help with my acting ! I want to act ! i have been imagining this for years and im only 13 !

Just finnished the book…LOVED IT!!! @ first i wasnt in to it but my BFF read it and said i sooo i did and awsome…i agree the ending could hav been diff but it worked great…off to go read “Cross My Heart, and Hope to Spy” LOVE IT!!!!
